NEW YORK — Facebook said Tuesday that it earned $7 billion in 2015.

The social network earned $9.6 billion in 2014, making it the second-biggest revenue generator of the tech company.

Facebook said its revenue grew more than 70% in 2015, but that growth rate fell in the fourth quarter and will likely slow in 2016.

It also said it earned less than $1 billion in the first half of 2016.

But Facebook’s revenue in 2015 grew more quickly than that of its competitors, as it expanded its service offerings.

The company said it will continue to build new services, expand its advertising products and add new products and services.

The earnings report showed that Facebook was the only company to report earnings in multiple quarters.

The company has a growing number of advertisers on its platform and is targeting the growing popularity of video, and the popularity of photo-sharing and video-sharing websites.

It plans to continue adding products to its site, including a news app, a photo-editing and a social network.
